What kind of sleeping pill is the most effective and best for me? The newest sleeping pill is Ambien, though the fact that it is the newest does not make it the best. The side effects of the Ambien sleeping pill, the generic name being Lorazepam, are quite harsh. First of all, you should know that the Ambien sleeping pill cannot be taken by any person with liver or kidney disease, lung disease such as asthma, sleep apnea or depression. Among those who are eligible to take Ambien the sleep inducing effects vary from person to person as well as negative side effects. The sleeping pill causes hallucinations, personality changes, lack of coordination, blurred vision and others. It seems like a lot to go through, but people suffering from insomnia, especially chronic insomnia, are usually quite desperate to try anything which can improve their condition. Such drastic steps are not always needed, as sometimes simple lifestyle changes can greatly improve the situation. A healthier diet, regular exercise and a regular sleeping routine often are the best treatments. Other than that you could try a much milder herbal supplement, which will not have harsh side effects and definitely will not have any addiction, dependency or overdose potential attached to them.
Having trouble sleeping for one or two nights isn't uncommon. When you have trouble sleeping for longer than that, or if you experience trouble sleeping for one or two nights but on a regular basis, you may begin looking into treatment options. Before doing that, the simplest thing to do is to examine your habits and lifestyle. You may find a few causes, or one single cause of stress; stress and anxiety are by far the main reasons for insomnia. If there are stressful factors which are causing you to have trouble sleeping, there may be a cognitive answer to dealing with these factors. We are told the benefits of eating right and exercising regularly, and when it comes to dealing with insomnia this is no exception; if you exercise (during the day, not late at night) this improves your body on many different levels and burns off energy. Trust nature to treat what ails you, especially in the case of trouble sleeping. There are so many natural remedies to help with sleep that unless you have a serious physical problem you should be able to deal with insomnia safely, without the use of pharmaceuticals. Don't let trouble sleeping interrupt your life any further.
